During this time of covid-19, one would think their website would have information on it about using their gift cards since you usually need to dine in and no restaurants are open now. But no, there is nothing about how their business works or doesn't work in the current pandemic and when reaching out to support for a response, all I get is an auto reply message stating how they respond in 3 business days and well... that's why I am writing a review. Clearly there is something wrong with this company when their average rating is so low. What a shame.
This is nothing that can be used. Like someone printing fake money, this is all fake marketing with a single person taking a huge amount of money. They need to be put out of business. Luckily I received two free cards, but they are worthless at every restaurant listed. It is truly just a scam. If someone offers you these, they are probably a scam as well. Steer clear.

Frequent refusals from restaurants that couldn't remove their listing! It's also VERY difficult to exchange and group coupons. BEWARE.
That stupid POP out is annoying as heck! AND WHY don't you have a "Remember me " options for logging into "My account". It sooooo annoying. I have to logging in with email and password every time. It almost not worth go through with. It's a Domino affect, I work for Stickr they pay me with your coupons and you make it hard to use sooooo Bye Stickr and Restaurant.com
It is almost impossible to reach out for help. NOBODY is responsible for this website. I found phone number for customer service on google and nobody picking up phone. They simply hanging up on you. Unbelievable. Do not buy any deals because it would be just throw your money way.
It's a complete scam. The restaurants I tried all said they've cut ties with restaurant. com/online dough because of their fraudulent behaviour.
Warehouse Restaurant Pocono Mountain PA. Food was horrible at best. Chicken wings skimpy, pizza tasteless, hush puppies stale & hamburger not cooked to order. Not advised of 18% surcharge for 6 people. Definitely would not go back or recommend this place.
Avoid this at all costs. I have unused certificates that I have not been able to use for 5 years. I don't recognize a single restaurant on there and have to spend double or triple at the restaurant to even use the card even though I paid for the gift card!
I would not leave any stars if it were possible. Total scam. Received two $50 gift cards for restaurant.com registered both, same day same time. Checked my account, only given credit for one. Tried online to get an answer to the problem, “ask a question”, no reply. Tried to call, on hold 10 minutes then cut off. Tried to call back, appears I was blocked, phone didn’t even ring. I called the company that sent me the gift cards and they told me I was one of hundreds with the same complaint and they no longer will do business with restaurant.com. Hopefully either will no one else.
Most useless purchase I can recall making. You have to spend so much for a restaurant that may be mediocre at best. I haven't successfully use a single certificate. The restaurant I requested a certificate for in 2019 closed 3 months later. Just today I got an email reminding me to use my certificate. Really?
I reveived a $50 certificate from my employer as a thank you and its practically unusable. I have tried for over half an hour to use the website, on my phone, on my desktop, different browsers, and the page is extremely slow. Every time you click a button is directs you to a 504 Gateway Timeout error. You cant log in, you cant see how where to use the certificate- nothing. What a waste of time.
They suck. They took my money and give me restaurants that won’t accept them or are closed. What a scam. They are crooks. They have my money and I have no way to use them. I mean they require you to spend $30 at a outdoor hot dog stand which is impossible. They suck.
I was introduced to restaurant.com through my mobile plan, which tries to use them as a reward. I tried "redeeming" certificates at two different restaurants and it didn't work. One was permanently CLOSED. The other cursed at me when I showed the coupon and told me to get out of the restaurant-- no kidding. The third time I was going to try it, I'd learned a little bit, so I tried to call the restaurant before getting the certificate. The place had been closed for over four years, and the owner didn't have nice things to say about Restaurant.com. Obviously, these people are shady. Avoid them at all costs.
